Cheapo Books

As of today, Dec. 8, all of these books are discounted to under $6--please check the prices before clicking "buy." Most are Kindle editions, but a few are print. Happy reading!

Notes: The Sky is Everywhere is one of my favorite books--it's just magic.  I thought My Life Next Door was an incredible solid depiction of teen relationships, including a very sex-positive story of teens figuring out how to take their relationship to the next level.

Notes: The Raven Boys series is fantastic--if you're not reading it, you should fix that ASAP. The Coldest Girl in Coldtown is equally as good, and is a standalone. I really enjoyed Shadow and Bone, even though the main character is kind of, well, dumb.

Note: I have had all three of these books on my to-read list for ages. Sandra read The Beginning of Everything and really liked it.

Note: I haven't read any of these three books, but they've all been recommended by people with good taste. Cruel Beauty is high up on my list, since it's supposed to be very gripping and different.

Notes: Chuck Wendig's Heartland trilogy is one of my favorite current series--it's so different. I thought Kim Derting's alien abduction series, The Taking, was pretty fun, though not the best thing ever. Sandra really liked Anna Dressed in Blood--it sounded too scary for me.

Note: What to try out a feminist historical romance? You can't go wrong with Sarah MacLean or Courtney Milan.

Notes: A Field Guide to Burying Your Parents seems to be an under-the-radar Liza Palmer book, but I really liked it. You cannot beat this deal for all three of Molly O'Keefe's Crooked Creek Ranch novels and About Last Night is by far my favorite Ruthie Knox book
