This necklace is one that I actually own—Laura, contributor to this blog, surprised me with it after I posted about it on Goodreads and I cannot say enough about what a wonderful piece it is.

Handmade in Albuquerque by Piano Bench Designs, this is a gorgeous, elegant design that I get all sorts of compliments on whenever I wear it (which is frequently). The chain is super-delicate, which balances out the heaviness of the wire nicely. At $34, it’s a great price for a one-of-a-kind accessory (each one is different), and would be a great gift for your favorite book nerd.
