Why aren't you reading Bitch Planet? What is wrong with you?

Do you not like smart, overtly feminist comics with compelling characters and unexpected plot twists? Do you have something against stunning throwback-style artwork? Or perhaps you don't enjoy brilliant essays on current issues in feminism?

Because Bitch Planet, a new comic from Kelly Sue DeConnick and Valentine De Landro, has all of that stuff and more and I'm pretty much obsessed and think you should be too. This is the sort of insightful creative work that we need more of in this world. 

Issue #3 comes out tomorrow and it's going to be brilliant. You should storm your local woman-friendly comic book store and snag the first few issues before they disappear from the shelves and you have to wait for the combined volume like a sucker.
